Amphibians are the animals who looked at life and said, \u201cWhy settle for just one<\/em> kind of habitat?\u201d They start out swimming around like tiny underwater noodles, then level up into land-walking, bug-snacking pros. Frogs, salamanders, and caecilians (yes, they\u2019re real\u2014no, they\u2019re not just cursed worms) are all part of this flexible, soggy squad. They breathe through skin, they come in wild colors, and they\u2019re basically nature\u2019s indicators of whether the planet is doing okay. Respect the drip\u2026 the literal<\/em> drip, because they\u2019re always a little damp.<\/h2>\n\n

Salamanders & Newts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

If lizards were made of jelly and secrets, you\u2019d get salamanders. They\u2019re long, smooth, and quietly dramatic\u2014some can even regrow limbs like it\u2019s no big deal. Newts are just the more aquatic, slightly fancier versions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Frogs & Toads<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The jumpy celebrities of the amphibian world. They come with built-in spring legs, weirdly loud voices for their size, and that classic \u201cI live on land and<\/em> water, deal with it\u201d energy. Toads are basically the frog cousins who chose a drier lifestyle and a bumpier skincare routine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
